Our Mission

BRIGHT’s mission is to be a financial partner for the LBTG+ community in Europe (to start with). Our community has different financial needs and these needs have been neglected by the financial system for a very long time and we want to change that. BRIGHT is a support for our community and we want to make a social impact while we are improving the financials of people..

Who is BRIGHT?

We are a disruptor that recognizes the different needs that the LGTB+ community has when it comes to finances. Our community has different identities, timelines, kinds of families, goals and even futures. Our aim is to be a community driven institution that can embrace all people irrespective of gender or race. It is about giving equal access and opportunities and getting rid of discrimination and intolerance and most important, supporting each other.

Our mission is to focus on financial inclusion, eliminate discrimination and push for social and economic equality in the LGTB+ community. We are first focusing in Europe and later reach overseas areas.

Did you know that according to a 2019 study the LGBT+ adults (globally) held a combined buying power of approximately $3.7 trillion, and in the UK our community has a purchase power of up to £6 billion a year. At BRIGHT our objective is to reach for inclusion of the LGBT+ community which has acquired sufficient purchasing power so that financial authorities can grant us a license to serve a market focused specifically on our community.

Who We Are

We are a group of people specialized in finance that believe
that inclusion and diversity represent strength, cooperation and something to
be proud of. That is why we are on a mission to create the first LGBT+
community driven neobank in Europe.

We believe we can reach thousands of people
in the our community and help them take control over their finances and their
lives. We are BRIGHT.

HOW CAN WE ACHIEVE THAT?

We plan to be the first community lead neobank for LGBT+ people. We will do this by building our community and raising enough equity (via venture capital or investor angels) involvement to take this project to reality and therefore reach the lives of thousands of individuals. Once we have reached our target, we will be able to sign the agreements with the providers and start the development of the banking system which would take approximately 2 months.

WHAT IS A NEOBANK?

The term neobank has been in use since at least 2016 to describe fintech-based financial providers that were challenging traditional banks. Their uniqueness is, they simplify financial services to the point where they meet the expectations of today’s digital generation. In simple words, it is a financial institution that performs the functions and renders services typical for the usual brick-and-mortar banks, but in the digital-only format.

All the services we provide have been selected to fit the
needs of the LGBT+ users. But that’s not all, we continue to develop new
services that we would like to introduce in the near future.

Financial Experts

We provide our services to all people no matter their gender. Our aim is to build a truly inclusive financial system, non-discriminatory and set the standards for a community driven institution. Please have a look at what services we will start offering.

IBAN Accounts

When operational, Bright will be the first European financial institution to serve the LGBTQ+ community. We will offer Euro personal accounts with great rates, low fees, and zero discrimination. Other currencies will follow. Please note that we only open personal accounts (corporate accounts will not be available).

Transfers

As a Bright client, you will be able to receive and send IBAN and wire transfers in Euro’s. Also you could transfer funds among each other in real time with a simple click.

Bank card

Show your true colors with our branded rainbow bank card. The card is in Euros and you will be able to use it anywhere in the world for POS or ATM transactions and online as well. All card transactions will be shown in the online banking area.

Crypto wallet

If you just started buying crypto or you are an experienced trader, we can offer your a safe wallet to store them. Bright has integrated with a licensed wallet to safeguard your cryptos. Even more, if you decide to buy or sell crypto currencies, you can do so from your online banking portal. Holding and exchanging your crypto just got so much easier!

Community Support

Our believe in the community is what drives us to perform better and better. We would like to give back to our community by donating to advocacy and support organizations that made it their mission to support, represent, and advocate for the LGBT+ community, we can physically and metaphorically raise that Pride flag 365 days a year.

We will choose each month a non-profit organization that we will promote in our social media and donate an amount of proceedings from business operations. Also we will accept donations on their behalf, with a simple click you will be able to support your favorite support group.

We intend to transform traditional banking into a community driven institution, this means that members of our community who believe in this project can actually decide its future. We will hold voting rounds in regards to important decisions that would affect products and services that we would offer in the coming months.

If you loved our idea and have a big community or you are an influencer, we would like to hear from you. We are currently developing our Ambassador program and looking for the right people, with the right vision, to join us.

At this stage of development, we are looking for Angel investors. This means, someone or a group of people who share our vision and would like to invest in Bright.
