Bright is a neobank. That means that we are backed by a bank and they provide all the services for our program. To know more about a neobanks please click here.
What is a community driven institution?

By community driven we mean that our members will have a say and will drive the direction of Bright. The community will be at the center of the decisions and would also decide what products and services we will be adding in the future. We focus on 5 principles: of empowerment, human rights, inclusion, social justice, self-determination and collective action

Are my funds protected?

Yes, as our service provider is a licensed institution, your funds are protected according to the regulations of the European Union.

Is Bright only for the EU?

Anyone can become a member or supporter of Bright, but for financial services we can only serve EU citizens or EU residents. We do plan to offer our services beyond the EU in the future.

When will Bright start working?
In order to start operations we required to raise equity (via venture capital or other sources). Once we have raised enough capital we can sign the necessary agreements with the providers and start operations. We expect to officially be able to operate by 4Q of this year.
Will you support any LGBT+ communities?
Yes, we actually plan to incorporate an NGO only to support different organizations and a system where members can donate to different associations dedicated to support of the community.
